Wah aku sudah dapet tiket mudik KA Argo Anggrek tanggal 8 Oktober 2007, senang sekali. Dibanding tahun kemaren, harga tiket KA ini tidak mengalami perubahan yaitu 370 ribu rupiah. Namun ada sedikit perbedaan jadwal berangkat dan tiba, kalo sekarang berangkat jam 21:30 dari Gambir dan nyampe jam 07:15 di Pasar Turi Surabaya (dibanding tahun kemaren yang berangkat jam 21:15 nyampe 06:30), tapi kan kereta terlambat itu biasa kata Iwan Fals. Kapan ya di Indonesia ada kereta yang kaya di Jepang, wah kalo ada “senang sekali” kata Shincan.

Naozumi “Nao” Tsuchiyama, a 26-year-old Japanese language instructor whose right leg was amputated as a child and now wears a prosthetic, had always wanted to become a boxer.

To do so, he needed a boxing license but was denied this in his home country on account of his physical condition. So, he went abroad but even then it wasn’t easy for him.
The first time he applied for a boxing license from the Games and Amusement Board (GAB) in the Philippines, he was rejected because his condition was deemed not fit for boxing. Medical examinations showed otherwise, but the GAB would not budge.
Last August, he took part in a trial fight in the Philippines where he impressed the GAB officials in attendance. Despite a favorable recommendation from these representatives who were impressed with his performance, the GAB still rejected his application.
Undeterred, Nao persisted and flew to South Korea to take part in the World Boxing Association’s annual conference. He returned to the Philippines with the assurance that there is no international policy preventing him from fighting professionally. This time around, the GAB relented and gave him his license.
Nao will be fighting his third match in the Philippines on Aug 9. JobStreet.com is proud to support Nao’s endeavor.

There are no words what i can tell you, excpet my favorite distro just got sleek and sleeker time after time. Back to early 2002 when i installed my first Debian with code name potato aka 2.2, I just impresed with the easy update and its big community.
The Debian Project has launched the Debian GNU/Linux version 4.0, codenamed etch, after 21 months of constant development. Debian GNU/Linux is a free operating system, which supports a total of eleven processor architectures and includes the GNOME, KDE, and Xfce desktop environments. Today i attended a regular / 3 yearly conference that hold by The Institue of Architect, Indonesia (district: Banten Province). As we know there are more than one of Architect Association in Indonesia, but The Institute of Architect, Indonesia is the only indonesian architect association that has the affiliation with ARCASIA and UIA (Union Internationale Des Architects). There are so many international level architect in this organisation, let mention it: Budi A. Sukada, (presently head of IAI / national level), M. Ridwan Kamil, etc. and I’m very proud of it!
The conference start at 8 am and begin with registration for new member (including me) and re-registratition for old member. The main purpose of this conference is succession of the leader, i mean the old leader give his posistion and all member start the election for the new leader of the organisation for periode 2007-2010. The final result Mr. Zakie Muttaqien win the election outrank the others two candidate, congrotulation!
I met a lot senior and young architect at the conference, and i learned very very basic architect principle that remind me again that architecture is very human oriented knowledge.
At the conference, all the new members read with loud the “ARCHITECT PROMISE” that mention us to have good attitude and hold the IAS’s principle, architect etiquette, and architect profession etiquette.
The conference was over at 4 pm, and from now on i’m part of the organisation and hold the registration number: 9812 072 3000. and the most important thing: let’s start to produce great masterpeace…!
Three days ago i ordered a honda vario for the first time since it’s launching last september, but unfortunately the dealer said ‘out off stock’ and i must be wait until February 2007 to get the motorcycle deliver to my place. i was thinking hard how to get this motorcylce as soon as possible. i tried to call another dealer but they said that i was too late, the last bike just sold out a minute ago. oh no, i think i must be patient to wait until february 2007… and i go to my room desperetely…
but.. 2 hours later i got a phone call from honda dealer that i could have the honda vario right now, oh no.. it’s surprise.. “what happen?” i asked them, “the person who booked the last vario just canceled the order… ” they said…
yess…. yesss… thank god…
Sebauh kejadian aneh, luar biasa, rada ajaib, atau apalah terjadi tadi siang menjelang sore. Seketika saja temenku manggil, “Lal, eh Lal bisa gak nyari nomor telepon di internet?”, “Nomor telepon siapa emang?”, jawab ku. Dia nyaut, “Nomor telp temen, nomor hp nya aku hubungi sudah gak bisa, bisa gak aku pengen nyari nomor rumah nya”. “Rumahnya dimana, di Ciamis?”, tanyaku lagi. “Bukan, di Bandung”, jawab dia lagi. “Temen kuliah?”, tanyaku lagi. “Bukan, temen main”, jawabnya lagi. “Ada gak semacam yellowpages gitu di internet?”, tanya dia lagi. “Emang kenapa sih temen lo”, tanya ku lagi rada heran kok begitu semangat pengen tau nyari nomor telepon rumah temennya. “Aku mimpi nyokap temen gua itu udah tiga hari, gua takut terjadi apa-apa gitu loh”, jawabnya lagi. “Ya udah search aja _yellow pages indonesia_ di google”, saran ku.
akhirnya dia mulai search dan berhasil mendapatkan alamat yellow pages indonesia yang warna kuning-kuningf gitu lah, dan dia coba explor tuh halaman, coba search no telepon bandung, ini itu dan sebagainya sampai akhirnya tanpa hasil, trus dia dengan nada menghiba.. “gimana ya caranya…”
seketika aku bilang “coba aja search alngsung nomor telepon temen itu dari google!”, suruhku.
akhirnya dia coba masukin keyword No telepon anwar sholeh bandung dan apa yang terjadi saudaraku hehe.. dari halam pertama result muncul Anwa Sholeh Kompleks Cibolerang: (di result page anda mungkin bukan di urutan pertama, karena ini sudah di re-request dalam kondisi login ke account google)
dan dia ikutin link tersebut, dan apa yang terjadi? dia mendapat nomor telepon rumah temennya gara-gara si temennya itu pernah nulis di surat pembaca koran Pikiran Rakyat, dan ada dalam index google!
akhirnya dia berhasil menghubingin temannya itu… dan gi tu deh
so wonderful!
